Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting a Neurologist to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the James H. Quillen VA Medical Cente located at 99 Veterans Way, Mountain Home, TN 37684. Shift scheduling is generally Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm with call including weekends and holidays. Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available.

Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient neurology care during regular clinic hours and via on-call coverage.
- Supervise and educate health profession trainees in accordance with VA policy.
- Participate in weekend and holiday rounding and emergency neurology consultations.
- Ensure timely and thorough clinical documentation in the VA’s electronic health record (EHR).
- Support continuous quality improvement by participating in staff meetings, reporting outcomes, and contributing to patient safety initiatives.
- Be available after hours for consults—by phone within 15 minutes and on-site within 60 minutes.
- Adhere to VA rules, medical policies, and patient care standards including TJC, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS
- NPI report printout
- Active DEA license
- Must be able to pass a federal background investigation
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
