Finance Manager
Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking a full-time Finance Manager. This work-from-home position is responsible for carrying out various day-to-day responsibilities that include oversee financial planning, reporting, and analysis for Ansible Government Solutions
Ansible is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing Federal customers with solutions in many arenas. Our customers face wide-ranging challenges in the fields of national security, health care, and information technology. Responsibilities- Involves managing budgets, ensuring compliance with government regulations and contract requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support project execution and organizational objective
- Develop and manage budgets involving government contracts and internal projects
- Handle monthly close process for business including variance analysis, journal entries, trend analysis, and preparation of results package to highlight key findings and trends
- Oversee invoicing and reconciliation for timeliness and accuracy
- Prepare and submit financial reports required by government agencies and contract requirements
- Manage audits and reviews, ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial documentation
- Collaborate with Operations Managers to optimize financial results on projects
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning
- Provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA, CPA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a government contracting environment.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of FAR, CAS, and other government regulations. Proficiency in financial software, Microsoft Excell and ERP systems.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
