Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking a Drywall Stocker Scrapper to support operations at the San Francisco VA Medical Center located at 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121. Responsibilities
  • Remove, modify, and install handrails and wall protection systems
  • Perform wall repairs, including drywall modification, installation of backing materials, and restoration of finishes 
  • Install ceiling systems (acoustic and hard‑lid), including framing and grid modifications 
  • Perform removal, repair, and installation of flooring systems, primarily LVT 
  • Support additional project‑related tasks (materials handling, site control) up to 25% of total effort
Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this job
  • Experience and skill level consistent with Davis‑Bacon classification CARP0022‑001 (Journeyman Carpenter) 
  • Ability to follow VA direction and work under VA in‑house construction supervision 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow instructions 
  • Must complete:
    • VA site orientation and safety training
    • Required VA TMS courses (ICARE, Privacy, HIPAA, Customer Service, etc.) 
  • Must pass VA background check and wear VA‑issued identification badge 
Position Pays: $26.33 - $31.88/hr

All candidates must be able to:

  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
