Dole V Medical Center located at 5500 E. Kellogg, Wichita, KS 67218. Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available.

Responsibilities
- Provide full‑scope Nephrology clinical services, including:
- Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)
- Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
- End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD)
- Fluid/electrolyte disorders
- Hypertension
- Nephrolithiasis
- Management of kidney transplant patients
- Oversight of all dialysis modalities (hemodialysis, PD, CRRT, PIRRT)
- Perform consults:
- Bedside consults for non‑ambulatory inpatients
- Clinic consults for ambulatory patients
- Schedule procedures within 30 days of consult date
- Manage medications in compliance with VA policies (no sample meds).
- Provide discharge and follow‑up instructions coordinated with the next level of care.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology
- Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS
- NPI report printout
- Active DEA license
- Must be able to pass a federal background investigation
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
