Certified Phlebotomy Technician
Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Phlebotomists to support the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System located at 215 Perry Hill Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109.If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.

Responsibilities
- Draw blood samples for inpatient and outpatient services.
- Ensure proper patient identification to eliminate errors.
- Accession and process specimens for testing.
- Maintain congenial relationships with staff and patients.
- Follow all infection control policies and procedures.
- Work under the supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor.
- Participate in training and continuing education sessions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved phlebotomy training course (or equivalent)
- American Heart Association (AHA) CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Proficiency in the following: blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, urine drug screen collections, paternity collections, breath/saliva alcohol testing, LCM/Cyber Tools, TestCup, pediatric blood collections, and difficult draws
- No sponsorship available
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
