Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting full-time and Locum Tenens, 1099 Emergency Physicians for service at the VA Central California Health Care System located at 2615 E. Clinton Ave, Fresno, CA 93703. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medicine services to Veterans in a 24/7 Emergency Department.
- Evaluate, diagnose, stabilize, treat, and manage emergent and urgent medical conditions.
- Perform triage, resuscitation, stabilization, treatment, and disposition of patients.
- Manage a wide variety of emergency conditions including:
- Cardiovascular emergencies
- Respiratory emergencies
- Neurological emergencies
- Psychiatric emergencies
- Gastrointestinal conditions
- Musculoskeletal injuries
- Burns and trauma
- ENT, eye, and urologic conditions
- Endocrine and metabolic disorders
- OB/GYN emergencies
- Minor procedures including:
- Incision and drainage
- Laceration repair
- Nail trephination
- Nasal cautery
- Bladder catheterization
- Peripheral IV placement
- Local anesthesia administration
Advanced procedures including:
- Endotracheal intubation
- Central venous catheter placement
- Chest tube placement
- Cardioversion/defibrillation
- Lumbar puncture
- Arthrocentesis
- Temporary pacemaker placement
- Cricothyrotomy
- Moderate/deep sedation
- Fracture and dislocation reduction
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
- Emergency Medicine, or
- Internal Medicine with Emergency Department experience.
- Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State or Territory
- Current DEA license
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS
- Must be able to pass a Federal background investigation (National Agency Check with Written Inquiries)
- No sponsorship available
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
