Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Otolaryngology (ENT) Physician to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Columbia VA Healthcare System located at 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209. Shift scheduling is generally Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm. with call Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available.

Responsibilities
- Shall provide clinical Otolaryngology services.
- Shall provide comprehensive clinical otolaryngology services including the full range of ENT surgical procedures.
- Typical surgical procedures include, but are not limited to: Thyroidectomy, Parotidectomy, Sinus Surgery, Head/Neck cancer removal and Pan endoscopy.
- Shall be present in the operating suite for all otolaryngology procedures.
- Rounds shall be conducted on postoperative ENT patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and on the wards.
- All cases will be discussed in morbidity and mortality of conferences, and will provide appropriate information to the COR for inclusion in departmental reports.
- Shall provide consultative services at the patient's bedside if the patient is not ambulatory and in the clinic setting if the patient is able to report to the outpatient clinic.
- Shall provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all Otolaryngology clinical or sugrical patients.
- Board Certified in Otolaryngologist.
- Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
- NPI report printout
- Active DEA license
- Must be able to pass a federal background investigation
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
