Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking a Painter to support operations at the San Francisco VA Medical Center located at 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121. Responsibilities
Install soft flooring systems, including LVT, VCT, and carpet
Perform subsurface preparation for floors, walls, and ceilings prior to final finishes
Perform painting work (brush and roller) at the journeyman level
Install ceiling systems, including acoustic and hard‑lid ceilings with grid modifications
Support general project tasks (materials handling, site control) up to 25% of total effort
Qualifications
Must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this job
Experience consistent with Davis‑Bacon classification PAIN0016‑012 (Painter)
Ability to work independently under VA project direction
English communication skills sufficient for daily coordination and customer interaction
Completion of VA orientation, safety, and required training courses
Background check and VA badge required
Position Pays: $30.71 - $36.26/hr
All candidates must be able to:
Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
Lift up to 20 lbs
Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
